An original Derek Bell SHOEI race helmet in white with applied blue and red stripes and a Union Jack. The driver's name, Boss and Sunrider advertising logos are present, it is complete with visor and in excellent condition. The helmet comes with letter of authenticity from Mrs Kate Norton who is Derek Bell's sister together with SHOEI helmet bag.

Seán Ward. As well as being a man who never ages, Derek Bell is a five-time Le Mans winner, former F1 driver, regular Goodwood racer and generally a very nice human. For the 1987 RAC Rally, the final round of that year's championship, he was a WRC driver, too. What we have here is a short but oh-so-sweet clip from Bell in his Opel Kadett GSi.

This helmet, obtained direct from Derek is from 1981 when he was racing for Porsche and won Le Mans with Jacky Ickx in a Porsche 936 run by the 'works' team. Signed clearly on one side the helmet is in good condition despite having been extensively used. A rare opportunity to obtain a helmet used by one of the all-time sports car greats.
